This piece comprises 200 individual ink drawings based on cropped stills from my video Mantle. In the video, I wore an  oversized amplifying garment while scribing circles with my body. The resulting movement created calligraphic shapes, and that reference  led to experimenting with ink. The drawings can be configured in multiple ways. In these two examples they are set up in sequential order left to right and top to bottom, out of which there is a stop animation sense of movement, although the origins of that movement are obscured.
